Mr. Petros Sourmelis, Minister Counsellor and Head of Trade and Economic Affairs at the Delegation of the European Union to India, presented a Certificate of Excellence to Mr. Nilesh Bhattad, Founder and CEO of CleanCarbon.ai, in recognition of his outstanding contribution to positioning India as a global hub for the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and advancing climate action in support of the Viksit Bharat 2047 vision.
The honour was conferred during the National Conclave on Environmental Services 2026, organised by the Services Export Promotion Council (SEPC) under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India.
